Light housekeeping and other boredom
First, if you have come here through bigbaldtom.com cut it out. The domain is going away. It was funny when they offered me another one for free but now for $26 not so much. So just revert to using good old stupidtom.com like everyone else. And speaking of everyone else if you are in another country reading this crap I’d love to hear from you. As WordPress catches up to the rest of the Internet and allows us to see where our traffic is coming from I get the odd visitor from far away lands. Seriously, I would love to know how you found me at the very least. S far there was a guy in Australia who’s friends all called him stupidtom and a band in England with the same name. The latter was going to buy the domain from me but broke up before we could close the deal. Anyway, you get the idea.
Next up I have decided to pay more respect to the Twitterverse. Roughly a third of you come from that thing so I’m going to make an effort to tweet more in the future. The fact that I just typed that made my hand fly up and slap my face and now that that’s over I really am going to try. Much like this page pictures are the easiest for me so watch for stupidity surrounding images. And before you even ask NO to the Instagram. I cant figure that thing out and commit to more of the tweets so shut up and enough with the social media already.
Finally I have been on a quest to reduce my digital life down to just my phone and iPad. everything is going pretty good except for a couple of glitches. I love this dam iPad but it is lacking in a couple places that make me wonder if I shouldn’t just stick with a computer. Web pages don’t always work the way they are designed on this thing. Usually not a big deal but when you’re trying to buy something or do some other important task it gets annoying. My bank has an app that works reliably about half the time and their web page gets annoying on this thing. They either need to fix one or the other.
And don’t get me started on typing. (that was a dumb-ass sentence because thats exactly what I want to talk about. idiot) It is not easy to thump away on glass for any length of time and then everyone says that you should get a keyboard case… If I need a keyboard why don’t I just use a computer? In fact I’m using the keyboard I love right now but seriously, wait, I’ll take a picture
If I need this setup wouldn’t I be better off with a little Mac Book Air? Said the guy who is trying to justify the purchase of a new laptop when other good reasons cant be found. I’m just throwing this out into the universe because the things that the iPad can’t do are sliver under my finger nail annoying.

I don’t even remember how I got here, but I’m glad I did. I know I’ll have at least one laugh a day.
And for all the reasons you’ve listed, I refuse to get an iPad, even though my hubby swears by them. I may, however, be talked into an Mac Book Air once my beloved Asus bites the dust. If you get there first, I’d love to hear your opinion. I know it will be honest!
