turn and face the strange

Hey Stupid, what gives with all the changes? Well I’m glad you asked… It all started with a visit to my actual website on a real live computer. I hadn’t done that in quite a while and I didn’t really like what I saw. You see I usually check in from a mobile browser which boils everything down to its essential parts but when I looked on a big screen there was a side bar with a bunch of stuff and another menu with more things and something like twenty posts per page which slowed down the loading just a bit. This is supposed to be about the posts and little else. Then when I went to clean it up there were things about the theme that needed updating and plugins that were annoying me so I put a match to that design in favor of something less complex. The only thing I’m not crazy about with this one is the big fat title bar but its growing on me. So the menu moved to the bottom and the page only loads three posts at a time. If you haven’t stopped by in a while tough shit. you’ll figure it out.

Anyway, enough boring blog on blog crime, it was time for a change. (crap, I typed that word I hate twice in the same sentence. I should just sack-up and call it a diary or journal. I curse the asshole who shortened web log into blog. probably the same idiot who mashes celebrity couple names together thus dooming their relationships to fail. Wait I’m still talking in a side bubble. oops) And now I find myself cleaning up other parts of my digital life. Deleting unused accounts, going through my massive ToDo bookmarks to see if any still apply, and just generally attempting to lighten the load. That’s what took me to the site in the first place. I wanted to see how big that iPhone screenshot looked on a computer. My phone is doing some wacky things with pictures lately but that thing was clear.

Finally because I posted a Hillary endorsementish yesterday I will attempt to follow the outdated Equal Time Rule by expressing my disappointment that this Kickstarter didn’t get funded: The Trump Stamp is genus and I may or may not be one of the five backers. (I already told you I have a weakness for the site) I can only hope that someone finds a way to produce them in the future.

*post removed. boo
